Proyecto Español feels practical in a good way. Its campuses in Alicante and Granada are accredited by the Instituto Cervantes and combine small classes, a communicative teaching style and cultural activities, so the experience is built less around polished branding and more around helping students use Spanish naturally in everyday life.

The course range is also broad enough to feel genuinely useful: conversation classes, general courses, intensive formats, DELE preparation, business or tourism Spanish, teacher training and university-oriented routes such as Spanish + PCE. That makes the school suitable both for short stays and for students who are planning something more structured over time.

Adult courses start from age 16, each lesson lasts 50 minutes, and regular group classes are capped at 10 students. In practice, that helps classes stay interactive without feeling too crowded.

Both are good cities for learning Spanish, but the overall lifestyle and atmosphere feel quite different.

Alicante tends to work very well for students who want sun, seaside life and an easy city to move around. Granada, by contrast, is usually more attractive for students who want a historic setting, university-city energy and a stronger cultural immersion feel. Both campuses keep small classes and Instituto Cervantes accreditation, but the city experience is not the same.

      This estimate is based on Proyecto Español’s official prices and the current internal pricing data. It already includes the €60 registration fee, materials, the placement test and the certificate, and there is no accommodation placement fee. Intensive 20 is only available for stays of at least 20 weeks. Shared apartments switch to long-stay weekly pricing from 13 weeks onward, and extra nights are charged separately. If you provide a start date and the stay crosses into a new year, the calculator will try to split the weeks using each year’s available rates; if the new year has not been loaded yet, it will temporarily fall back to the currently available pricing. Family Program and Spanish + Internship require a personalised quote.
